Matt Watkins
Matt Watkins is an artist, developer and designer.
As co-founder of the Award winning Active Ingredient he has been responsible for the visual and technical design of a large number of interactive work which has ranged from web-based projects to live video streaming, robotics and sensor based work, locative and pervasive games, CGI/Video production and post-production.
As well as creating the work he has project managed all the technical aspects of their delivery. These works have been installed in international galleries, media centres, mobile networks, festivals and museums. The work has been shown in venues including Games Developers Conference San Francisco, AV Festival Newcastle, Siggrapph Multimedia Singapore, Nokia Mindtrek Tampere Finland and Dislocate Festival Tokyo.
He is also a lecturer in Multimedia and sometime actor.
